Building Together

Growing Our Co-Op
We are not just one community. We’re a collection of overlapping communities—groups of people who are passionate about supporting local farmers, sustainable growing practices, healthy lifestyles, and eating really good food. In 2022, we expanded this collective and welcomed over 2,202 new members to the Co-Op.

Investing In Local
Our mission to provide fresh, organic food and goods is only possible with the help of local farms, vendors, and small businesses. Through Farmhand, the Co-op’s collective community fund, our employees and members put over $45,000 into the hands of 30 local growers and makers. These contributions helped fund major efforts like irrigation systems, commercial equipment, improved growing practices, and more.

Community Matters

Contributing To Our Shared Collective
Active participation in our community doesn’t stop at our doorstep. Contributing to our larger, local ecosystem is an essential part of our mission. This year, we were excited to donate over $17,000 to 22 local organizations and events like Big Paws of the Ozarks and The Big Gay Market.

Embracing Sustainable Practices
We believe in spreading good, not waste. In our continued effort to become a greener business, we partnered with Food Loops to launch our new sustainable packaging program. Today, over 50% of our kitchen and taproom packaging is commercially compostable, making us NWA’s first grocery store to have a comprehensive compostable products and recycling program for both front and back of house.
